Our public Christian witness...

Life is full of choices.

Everybody takes positions one way or the other on everything... Even if that decision (deliberate or or accidental) is to be indifferent, as this is indeed a position in its own right.

The liberal mantra suggests that people should be free to believe whatever they wish, and that all values have equal legitimacy. Taken to the logical extreme this would yield pure anarchy for society. They compromise therefore by suggesting that beliefs that don't affect others can be freely held, but they have no answer as to where society should obtain its beliefs from... They also are hypocritical as the one personal belief you may not have is that you are right and they are wrong.

As Christians, God has given us wisdom that is an absolute transcendent truth. We therefore must be careful to extract our beliefs, both personal and societal, from the Word of God. It does not follow however that the Bible provides wisdom on all facets of life, and therefore we are challenged, as children of God, to establish and take positions that are compatible with those He has chosen to give us.

It comes as no surprise that some people label us as "fundamentalists" or "radicals". The intent of this characterization is derogatory, suggesting simplicity and intolerance. Ironically, in the proper interpretation this can easily be seen a compliment in an age of confusion, ambiguity, and ambivalence. We are happy to know that our witness is clear, concise and filled with conviction.

This section of the site lists beliefs that we feel are appropriate for believers of Jesus Christ.
