Foreword to the unknown visitor:
The wonders of the internet allow us to hang our electronic sign out for all to see. The Bible tells us to be a light on the hill; An internet web site allows us to do this easily... But we do appreciate that this is a one way dialogue. The proper place to learn more about Jesus is through the Bible and the local church. We do hope you find something at this site that stimulates you to do exactly that. The only thing further I will say is be very careful to accept ONLY the bible as God's authoritative word; be wary of man's inclination to add or take away through other writings or institutional hierarchy.
Foreword to the friend:
For those who know us (or think you do), this site will take it to another level of detail. This is not done without some serious introspection: What if people are offended? Will it impact my professional career? Will it impact our social relationships? All these questions however fade into irrelevance when the size of the prize is eternal heaven or hell. The Bible allows for only two destinations; How good of a friend would we be if we did not share this with you? This life is over in a blink of an eye, with eternity spreading out forever on the other side; What sacrifice is too big when the stakes are that high?
By the same token, the Bible also warns believers that the gospel is foolishness to the wise, and wisdom to the humble. It states that it is a two edged sword, dividing joint from sinew and parents from children. We are therefore under no illusions; You may take great offense at what we say and wish you never knew us.
Whatever the outcome, on Judgement Day we will not be guilty of staying mute and hiding the truth from you dear friend. We may have erred in our delivery and method, but not in our intent.
Foreword to the believer:
There is only one God. He is love, truth and unchangeable. We are fallen creatures, and very limited in our own wisdom and strength. In this context, we ask that you understand the positions taken in this site are intended to be edifying to the reader. Over the years we have indeed influenced numerous people as evidenced by emails received (both supportive and otherwise).
We attempt to be biblical and logical; In the process we may uncover and run afoul of your personal convictions; If this is the case, please pause and reconsider. We would gladly learn from others, as we in no way process to have a monopoly on truth!
